Shared experience. Practical support.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who support each other in living without alcohol. Members meet, talk about their experiences, and share what has helped them.
A.A.’s Twelve Steps offer a suggested approach to recovery. Meetings provide a place to hear how different people put that approach into practice in everyday life.
What brings us together
Shared understanding
Hearing another person’s experience can make it easier to talk about your own.
A day at a time
Members share the things that help them face daily life without alcohol.
Anonymity and respect
Anonymity is central to A.A. Please respect other people’s privacy and do not identify members or repeat their personal stories outside a meeting.
